Austria-Hungary flag My name is Guenther Knobe. I fought for Austria-Hungary in the World War 1. I used to be a regular soldier, someone who marches out into the field or cover behind a trench. Waiting until I was one of the 10,000 people to be shot. Later I was one of the first tank drivers. It wasn’t easy for us; we weren’t the most technologically advanced and because of it, the Germans weren’t going to expect much out of us. The Start Of World War 1
The car of the archduke, Franz Ferdinand, was passing by. I didn’t know exactly what he was up to. I hadnt read the newspaper. He had a Woman with him. There was some people who where staring at the car as it drove by. It was weird, they where looking at the car with a terrible look. The archduke was protecting the women from something. When I looked down I found a grenade. Then i saw someone jump in the river across the road. Ouch. He was pulled out of the river later, of course. He wasnt dead. I was sure the government turned in to a anarchy. but thats impossible. The last time i checked the news after that, the archduke was assassinated, and it was from serbia........
Later in this war i got to test drive a tank! Then after i was promoted to tank commander! Now i can march right into the field without having to get gunned down by a machine gunner. The artilleries still scare me though, and sometimes i spend time in the trenches.
The article about the christmas holidays is not from my expireance, because i only spent a holiday with the french. And i didnt play football.
instead, I got yelled at for not assisting a commander to tell our troops to get back into the trenches. The french arent that bad are they? Mabye they are but i just cant think of any argument right now.
British arent so bad. They make these heart warming posters that make people feel like theyre with family in the army. OR DOTHEY?!
These cold blooded British made these posters up! They shouldnt be talking like that and they wouldnt be if the U.S. didnt stick there noses into other people's business. I kinda like the first poster though. But thatll be the only good they could do.
Surprisingly, I found a picture about a nurse who caught my eye one time. When I went up to her, I was pulled back by a friend saying I had to go somewhere. I shouldve asked for a little more time.
I know its not a real picture. I said I just found it. Mabye someone asked to paint her before?
If your one of those people who likes games, i did a search. Unfortanetly i have no clue if its a good idea to post it. instead go on google and search "ww1 games'. im not giving you something you SHOULD do, its just a thought.
